| Painted Unicorns |
| A musical sound draws you forward into a lovely little clearing with a row of blossoming trees forming a barrier between the clearing and the forest. You follow a butterfly for awhile, letting it lead you through a path of wildflowers. Finally, you find yourself standing in front of a petite unicorn with a striking flea-bitten coat and various black markings. |

| "Oh, hello there, stranger," the unicorn says. "I am Abandi, a painted unicorn, if you couldn't tell by my coat. We're from another place, so we don't look much like the unicorns that are native to this Forest." "Pleased to meet you," you reply politely. Then, Abandi turns his head around this way and that, obviously looking for something. "You haven't seen a mare around here, have you? She's always wandering off into the woods, though there are dangerous things about." You shake your head, and Abandi snorts. "Well, only one thing to do," he says. And with that, he makes a strange trilling sound that sounds vaguely like a neigh, but much more musical. Suddenly, a delicate mare steps into the clearing and shakes her head. She moves gracefully, and has brown and black markings, and a lavendar mane and tail. |

| "Sella li," she says and smiles at you. "I was just exploring. I don't know why Abandi gets so upset." "This is Milzyith," Abandi explains. "And I get so upset because I'm supposed to be your caretaker!" "I am a fully grown mare now, Abandi," she says. "Well, you certainly don't act like one," the stallion says with a chuckle. We shouldn't argue in front of guests, anyway. If you'd like to see more information about us, friend. Take a look over there." He points with his horn to the other side of the clearing and you find a large sheet of parchment with parentage for both unicorns, as well as cute baby pictures. You look at them and then leave the clearing. |
