Raveen Kat
Your encounters in this place have given you a strange feeling. These feline creatures, Raveen Kats, have powers and personalities that you have not seen in any other beings in your long trek through the Crossroads. You find yourself afraid to see what will come around the next corner. Will it be something more frightening than Uurd? You got the feeling that he could snuff you out with a wave of his paw if he wished.

You turn a bend in the path, going around a trio of trees with massive trunks, and sure enough you find another Raveen Kat blocking your path. This one is small, a brilliant white with icy markings that remind you of snowflakes.
Species: Raveen Kat
Name: Kavina (snowflake in Gavanian)
Gender: Female
Age: Cub
Element: Season
Ability: Ice paw - basic ability to cover anything in ice by touch.
Parentage: Kila and Natheuu
Notes: If wounded, she heals instantly (flesh wounds only). She has no tail, just like her mother, and carries a similar mutation as her mother does. She has tufts of fur on her legs, passed down by a gene her mother carries. Her eyes are just like her mother's, silver on blue.

"I'm Kavina," the Kat says in a voice that is both femine and childlike. She looks at you curiously with her odd silver and blue eyes. "You've just come from talking to Uurd. I can tell."

She giggles mysteriously. You honestly don't see what's so funny, but you are certain that you are being made fun of. You change the subject and ask what Element she is.

"Season. Actually, Winter, if you couldn't tell. My name means Snowflake, appropriate, huh? I look just like my mom, so my name is kinda like hers."

"Do you have powers like the others?" you ask. She seems to be pretty harmless, still a cub, so you decide to satiate your curiousity.

"Yep, I can freeze things and if I get hurt I heal right away. Very helpful." She nods cheerfully. "That's it for now. I might get other abilities when I get older."

"You're quite different from the other Raveen Kats here," you comment.

"Well, aren't you different from all other whatever-you-are's out there?" She retorts. "That was a silly thing to say."

"I just mean..." you start, but she cuts you off.

"What, you're disappointed that I didn't try to eat you or something? Aruul must not have made a very big impression on you. He's the most pacifistic Kat out there. And the other two aren't coldblooded. They just don't like visitors. Well, Uurd does, but only because he likes to play with them." She shrugs. "Don't say anything bad about Ekaira, okay? She's my friend."

You quickly apologize for implying anything bad about the other Raveen Kats. Kavina seems to accept this and sits back, satisfied.

"Well, I have to go back to something important now," she says, sounding far too serious for such a young cub. "See ya later!"

She runs off into the woods. You watch her for a long time, easily keeping track of the bright spot of white and blue in the green and brown expanse of the Forest. When she is gone, you look around for the path.
