| The winding path leads you even farther into this meadow-spotted patch of forest. When you come out of the trees into another clearing, you look around anxiously. At first you don't see anything, but then your eyes catch the glinting of the sunlight off of sometime to your right. You follow it and almost trip over a large white and yellow unicorn laying in a bed of yellow flowers. He yawns sleepily and stands up, shaking grass out of his white mane and tail. "Just catching some sun," he explains. "I'm Suninita. You might have met my parents earlier." "Perhaps," you say. "Who are they?" "Xick'Mel and Fahl'Dayfi." "Yes, I just finished speaking with your mother," you say. "She didn't tell me that she had a son." "Well, she's like that. Always mysterious." He shakes out his long mane in a gesture that you can only interpret as equine amusement. "Are you all alone here?" you ask, looking around to make sure no other unicorns are going to jump out of the flowers and surprise you. Your question is answered when you see another Crystal running over, as if to answer your question. It is a little smaller than the others you have seen and has pretty decorations dangling from its mane. "Hey, Sunny!" the new one calls as she approaches. Suninita winces. "That's Arlaa'Bazzia," the stallion explains. "Yes, she's cute, but also a pain in the tail." "Be nice, Sunny," the mare says. "Don't call me Sunny and maybe I will," he replies, sticking out his tongue. "The visitor and I were having a perfectly nice conversation before you came." "Were you? How terribly wonderful," she sighs. "Why can't you have a nice conversation with me?" The stallion rolls his eyes and before he can say anything, Arlaa looks at you. "Hope he hasn't spoiled your trip. He's not all bad." "Well, it was nice to meet you and Suninita," you say, nodding politely. "Return whenever you like," the big stallion says warmly and trots back to his basking spot. The mare follows him, but he ignores anything that she might be saying to him. |
