The Abefae Patch
You realize why the air is so strongly scented here when you come around the thick trunk of a large oak into a clearing covered with flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors. At the center of the area is a small flowering fruit tree with a worn fountain under its shade. You walk toward the fountain, but notice a small purple creature perched on a white flower. It looks at you with intelligent eyes and flutters its transparent wings, but does not speak.

Curiously, you push past the flowers, keeping your eyes open for more of these creatures. On the rim of the fountain you see two more, apparently playing together. One is colored in bright blue, while the other is almost completely black and white. You watch them for a moment, but they ignore your presence.
As you watch, you see a small inscription on the side of the stone fountain, which reads "The Abefae Patch." These must be abefae, then? You wonder why the first one you saw isn't participating in the fun and games, but they all seem so occupied that you do not disturb them to ask. Perhaps Adlana will know next time you see her. You go a little farther and your hair is buzzed by another Abefae, this one blue with a brown underside. It lands on a nearby tree, looking quite curious about you. It watches you for a moment, not blinking, and then flies away on golden yellow wings and joins the second two you saw, chasing after the black and white one. You wander through the flowers, and just before you leave, you see a little wooden sign. It was mostly hidden behind a patch of roses, so it's a good thing you noticed it.
